Birthday party

Today we were invited to Felix´ first birthday on Sunday. But due to the fact that we will be on holiday then we celebrated him this afternoon...was a nice change during the exhausting preparations for the vacation as well. 

The children were playing so very cute together and the most funny thing was that it was kind of a *potty party*. All toddlers there are not wearing diapers any more for a little time now. So there was always somebody who had to make his or her duty! Beyond gorgeous!

When we arrived home both darlings were dog-tired. Just off to the bathroom, having dinner and bed was calling. 

Little Missy was so good waiting in the playpen while mama was hurrying up to finish the daily post... and Max having evening bottle which was heavily expected. 

You my children are the best ones in the whole world... even when you are so tired and not wanting to wait any more you are not badly whining at all. This is the biggest relief a parent could have!

I simply adore everything about you!

Little helper

What do you think my little ones were doing while I was busy preparing the stuff for our holidays and getting everything ready? 

Obviously... they were busy as well...

They were wading through the closet and my boy was jumping on our bed as well. Nevertheless... doing this all with them was much fun and a bit exhausting too!

Love you babies and looking so very much forward to our time together on holiday!

Garden

Thought about to take some lovely pics of our blooming garden today. But of course the photos would look more beautiful with my lovely ones on them!? ...and so here they are!

Max is one lucky boy. His opi made a huge playing area for him... a gravel pit. Max is spending lots of time there now... just digging and shoveling with garden tools, working with his excavator and tipper... then some rest on a chair and going on. Too cute!

In the evening we all were so very much waiting and excited for daddy´s arrival... we did the care quickly and then played a while with omi to distract the children from wanting sleep.

 

Finally... papa is back! The children were so happy to see him again... just giggling and hugging him! 

Of course Max got a beautiful car and was totally amazed. Took it to bed and was playing with it quite a while...

Lina got a lovely hat, mama a yummy enormous lemon and... a marvelous ring!

Yes... now it´s official... everything is more wonderful when there are the four of us together! We all are incredibly happy to be complete again! 

I love you all that much!

Babylegs

Isn´t this a totally cute *I-like-to-go-to-the-potty* outfit? Max is such a good boy... needs no more nappies during the day. Is pulling his underwear down on his own, taking a book and waiting... very very long if necessary. Afterwards tearing his arms up... calling "Hooray!" and then pouring everything into the toilet. This is how big boys are doing... I´m that proud!

Hope we will keep this stage now... because our holidays are near and my boy is dependent on his daily schedule. Let´s see how we are going to manage this...

Finger puppets

There are little puppets in the white basket we found at Ikea. Max already loved them when he was a babyboy and now Lina is picking them out every single day.

Lovely rainy day with lovely Max and Lina!

Hello daddy... happily you come home tomorrow! The children, especially our son, are missing you that much... he is asking for you very often... is waiting for you every evening to come home :-)

Mischief

I had a really stressful sunday because there are so many things to prepare before our summer holidays. We start next saturday... going to Croatia. Daddy is in Greece at present but we are lucky to have omi´s and opi´s support every day.

After our little ones had taken the evening bath together, omi went with Lina and Max could have the bath for himself a while. In the meantime Lina got her pyjama and I did some laundry.

Funny... because omi said how good Max is to spend some time alone in the bath... singing, talking, washing... but check out why he was that busy...

He poured tirelessly water out of the tub and sprinkled it across the room. So... I could wipe the floor and dry the wall tiles too. Happily I wasn´t tired at all ;-) 

Nevertheless I couldn´t say a rough word but had to laugh to myself... fortunately I grabbed my camera at once!

Family festival

Yesterday I promised my sweetheart Max to go to the mall again.... festival part two. Omi Sonja joined us today.

Although it was exhausting too because of the fuss we had a great time there. Max was strolling around on his own and we just followed him. Fun to see how securely he is moving to the places he is interested in. 

Lina was so well waiting and looking around. She is already fascinated as well by the bustle around her. Funny little lady!

Max liked the play-doh corner most. He was standing there and observing first and then he started to try out different play-doh squeezers... was so sweet!

Oh... how I like such fun days... together with my loved ones!

Activities

In the morning omi Irmi came over to play with the children and mama could do the housework. To have the family around is a great support - especially now - while daddy is abroad. 

After Max and Lina had their naps we went to the near shopping mall with opi. A family festival took place. This was so cute! Stations with play-doh, Lego, trampolines, shows with dancing kids, woodworks and many more activities there. Max was completely overwhelmed by the offers and the noise and Miss L. was staring out of her pram. After a while she needed a distance and came to mama´s sling. Cutie!

We decided to go there tomorrow again. Max is very looking forward to this! So I´m going to post some lovely pics tomorrow because I only had my iphone today.
