Love

Max is my big wonderful boy. He is my first baby. He got my undivided attention up to the time my sweet daughter was born. Although he is such a lovingly brother and is doing so great with a little demanding sister... I sometimes feel sorry for him. He has to wait a lot, I have to rant sometimes because he has a twinge of annoyance for Lina and... he can not help but obtain space with elbow. 

Being a sibling is indeed not easy... each of the two has own difficulties and challenges... but that´s how it is. So... some time ago, I decided to spend regular times with Max or Lina... alone!

Today, after Lina had fallen asleep, Max and I went to the shopping mall. Bought new shoes for Max, went for an ice cream, met friends, were in the book store and had... best time together. We are in the fortunate position to live next to the grandparents so I have many possibilities to ask omi or opi to have an ear on Lina while she is sleeping and I can do something with Max. 

In the afternoon we had playtime in the backyard... fun time with Miss Lina...

I am definitely happy about the special time-outs with Max. I think it´s important to have more ones with my big boy. Lina is still too little and anyway... she has tons of time-outs together with mama :-)

I love you so much and seeing you happy, my babies, is the most important thing!

Simple day

Just spent the day with my children at home... nothing special... but wonderful! Walking with them through the backyard, trying out my DSLR and different lenses, capturing funny moments, joining them while playing and giggling... and doing no homework, ha!

In memoriam

It´s an affair of the heart...  and my heart aches today... to write this little post because a wonderful woman was killed yesterday in a car accident. She was a beloved wife, a loving mother of the two year old girl Kiara and 35 weeks pregnant... expecting a new baby in a few weeks. Kerryn was part of our group of Documenting Delighters and will be missed there as well unspeakably! I didn´t know her personally but know her through her posts for a very long time now and this makes this tragedy so horribly real!
This all makes me so sad because it shows us how fleeting life is and how valued every moment should be... especially with our children!

Once more I´m so happy about the fact that I do this project for my Max and my Lina... it´s my gift for them. Kiara has all these pictures now as an eternal memory of the adoration her mother felt for her... and this will help this little girl to remember her mama and always know that she loved her endlessly!

I dedicate this extra post to my babies, to tell them once more how important they are for me, for my happiness... how much they give a meaning to my life and how precious the time together with them is! I love you Max and Lina!

I held them super tight today...

Rest in peace Kerryn... with your angel baby inside!

European Bike Week

Was a cool afternoon on the Harley Davidson festival today! Just a while strolling around and searching for some beautiful motorcycles... Max loved the shining chrome and big wheels. He was also fascinated by the motor noises in case they had a good distance and weren´t too loud, ha!

Max loves the ringsling as much as Lina does. I´m so happy about that because when he cuddles to me it´s such a wonderful feeling. I love this boy so very much... he is too cute and funny... I have no words for! 

Afterwards we went to a huge playground... this was fun fun fun! So many lovely pictures today... hard to choose but... no matter which one I take... every single one is to fall in love for!

I love you my babies... so so much! 

You are the most beautiful children inside and out!

Nostalgic train

Were on a totally cute trip today. Hubby had the cool idea to go by an old  train... we thought Max would be fascinated by this new impression... and he was! The ride was so old-fashioned and entertaining... we had very much fun!

 

Inside the wagon was very hot, no air condition of course!  But the children were so good... no whining the whole day... just best mood!

 

Max was watching outside the window, stepping onto the platform, strolling through the wagon and listening to the whisteling of the steam locomotive. MIssy did just the same together with papa.

During a break we had to switch to an old tram which brought us to a car museum. Surprisingly I found it very charming and interesting... so did my men and Lina loved to walk around.

This was indeed a fun day with many new experiences!

Reading

Found my boy like this in the afternoon while I was preparing dinner. He and Lina were playing so lovely... Max was flicking pages and Lina was stepping about and around him. Sometimes he was annoyed, sometimes he just ignored her obtrusiveness.... anyway... these two darlings together make me smile and laugh... every single day!

Nursing

Finally she let him be and came over to mama into the kitchen to get some yummy milk. Wanted me to sit down and pulled down my shirt... this was so so cute... I just love her demanding for my boobs, haha!

Heights

My cheeky little monkey is climbing onto everything at present. But she is very, very skillful with stepping down.

Hairdresser

Max and I went to the shopping mall in the morning... to let his hair cut and a bit of shopping.  It is always such a great time being together with him... nothing else to do and no distraction.
He enjoys this time a lot... is so good and happy... smiling and talking, storytelling and giggling!

I love you so my sweet children... you both are the fulfillment of my dreams!
