Saint Nicholas

In the morning I went to the shopping center with Lina while Max was in kindergarden. Love these one-on-one times with my babies. 
Meeting Saint Nicholas was spectacular for Miss L this year. First I thought she would be restrained because she is not thrilled being addressed by unfamiliar people or even touched. I was so very wrong!

Meeting Saint Nicholas left her speechless and astonished.

Waiting is so hard

Me: "Lina, let´s go upstairs to Saint Nicholas!"
Lina:" No, Lina alone."

Oh... okay darling!

Oh my... check out this face!

Lina:" Mama!!! Lina saying bye-bye please!"

So we had to stop him that Missy could shake his hand telling "bye-bye"! SOOO CUTE!

In the evening we went there once more with Max...

Is he a brave boy or what? Those ugly creatures are pretty frightening with the masks and loud bells I think!?

Lucky me... I was allowed to go with them this time, ha!

Painter

I always tried to convince my boy to draw or paint or craft with me but... he was never very keen on doing this. So guess how thrilled I was when I saw this!?

(Doris, his kindergarden teacher, is so very lovely and takes tons of pictures for me with the digital camera I gave to her)

Christmas Shooting at home

I love that we made this one a traditon already... taking the pics for our Christmas cards in our home. I´m sure it´s the most easy way on the one hand and the most comfy looking on the other. The kids can behave like ever - which means pretty much fuss though - but to take them in a studio sounds too stressful for me.

The thing that made me a wee bit nervous this time was... that Miss Lina decided to be feverish two seconds before we wanted to start. Fell asleep - once more - just like this.

But all excitement was for nothing... it worked perfectly and the photos turned out lovely.
