18.April 2014 - Preparing for Easter

As I had to go to the nightshift this evening we were all busy getting the preparations done in time.  Max and Lina were so good helping us.

Decorating the painted eggs was a big deal I guess... especially because usually I don´t let them play with stickers because they put them e v e r y w h e r e .

First we wanted to craft some stuff for our Easter bush but time was short and the kids not always in the mood to do so... let´s try again next year, ha! We bought some new things for decoration but did only recognize at home that the eggs were real ones... not all did suvive... anyway... the kids had a blast.

13.April 2014 - Palm Sunday

It´s a tradition for years now to go to the palm blessing on sunday before Easter. Unfortunately worst weather the second time. As you all can imagine I wanted to take some family pictures and some pics we all decorating the Easter tree. I forgot to do it... grrrrh!

So I will cheat and make the pics a few days later...

I had to put my girl into the carrier to keep her under the umbrella. Of course I would have preferred to let her stand on her own with her brother holding their bushes themselves. Would have meant wet children... so I refused.

Catching raindrops with the mouth did never ever look so cute...

Stopping by and grandmother´s and great-grandmother´s house is a tradition too and to convince Max and Lina to sit still for a moment was a challenge... again!

Putting a wooden dolphin on daddy´s head put a little smile on Max´ face... Lina´s smile was only implied (which means "you are not funny mama").

18.March 2014 - On the farm

Lovely Eli invited us to spend the morning with her and her sweet babygirl Luisa. We went to the near farm to see pigs and piglets, cows, horses, dogs, chicken and rabbits. This was truly amazing for both Max and Lina. We were allowed to touch all animals as the farmer is related to Eli.

A wonderful day and loads of impressions for my kids...

First Miss Lina was a bit restrained to touch those cutest piglets and they were squealing a lot when we picked them up... and mama pig was moving at once checking out what was going on. But after a while Lina fell in love with the funny pink babies.

Cows... very scary for a little girl. Anyway... she was really thrilled about the way they were peeing, haha!

09.March 2014 - Grado

What to do while having chilly weather at home...

... going to south... having a springlike day!

The kids, especially Miss Lina, were thrilled when we told them we would spend the day at the beach. "driving mo(to)rbike, eat pizza and gelati!"

It´s too cool how much we already can enjoy such trips with two little ones. Just offer a day strolling around, doing what they like and buy gelati and pizza... and it´s like you don´t have two whining toddlers like someday at home.
