Birthday again

While I was busy today preparing stuff for my boy´s 3rd birthday coming in november... daddy assumed the role of the daily photographer...

Good Morning!

Little Lina is catching up the sleep she missed the last months. Waking ups through the night two to ten times let us sleep far too little. 
Now we have one or two interruptions and Miss L. is sleeping till forenoon. Ohhh... that´s relief! 

Btw: her nails were too long and she scratched herself...

Max loves to kiss his sister after waking up. He goes upstairs, opens the shutters and then they are playing for quite a while. She is giggling so much then...
 

At present I try to explain my sweet boy how to smile for photos... we moved away from the wide opened mouth and and calling "Aaaa"... but we arrived at teeth pressed together and a wry smile!

We keep on practicing...

Btw: he has his first mosquito bites... and no less than five in a row... poor boy!

En route

Went to our capital by train today. Omi made the suggestion to make a trip with the kids because of the boring weather outside. Max was directly very thrilled as he found out we would take the train. 
To explain: he is a wee bit obsessed at present with trains since he was allowed to watch "The Polar Express" on tv... he is too cute!

So around midday we started... Max was continously staring out of the windows and even Lina recognized that something special was going on, ha!

This was such wonderful day... the children were so very good, they were totally fascinated and enjoyed the change of scenery. A whole day without any whining or crying or tantrums... is definitely a good day!

We love Adele

Listening to Adele´s live concert in the Royal Albert Music Hall was definitely best entertainment this morning. Lina was dancing and admiring her tirelessly... Max told me "Mama not sing... let her!"... Ohh... okay!

Awww.... my beautifully grumpy babygirl! Of course... we have those moments as well although you are smiling, giggling and happy most of all the time... I adore you Lina!

Just had a look through your newborn pictures, my sweet Max... I have to tell you... they made me teary because I immediately got the feeling back how happy you made me from the first moment on... my beloved son!

New flatmate :-)

My sweet darling gave me a new DSLR as a gift yesterday... oh yes... I was blown away... was so very much looking forward to getting one! So today I tried it out... tried to find the different settings out and to make myself familiar with this beautiful piece :-) 

Thank you hubby... you are the bestest!

My wonderful girl... every pic of you is most beautiful because it shows your adorable face... I love you so!
 

My boy... fortunately it started getting easier to make pics of you... you are joining in much more and going along with mama´s ideas... thank you enchanting darling!

Isn´t this a gorgeous gift? ... Oh M... you made me happy!

Making photos with my new camera is great fun indeed... hope my skills will improve very soon and I will be able to present some awesome photographs for the future!
