Another swimming lesson this morning... Lina is already used to the surroundings and marching off the hallway at once.
She is straightly walking into the pool then, jumping into my arms from the edge and having the greatest of fun.
In hindsight... the first lessons were pretty challenging. Lina was whining a lot and I didn´t have the feeling she enjoyed it. Fortunately this changed completely...
At the doctor´s
Max had his 3 year examination in the evening. I love the way the docter is establishing up a connection to him whenever we have an appointment.
First they are playing together for a while through which she is already testing his fine mototy skills, his vocabulary, his motor activity and so on.
Even size and weight are taken playing... as listening to the heart sounds, taking looks into mouth and ears or measuring the blood pressure.
Max was so very interested in everything she was doing... not refusing one little thing or whining about anything. And when it was time to get the injection he was sitting on my lap and observing her.
I had told him at home that he was going to get one stitch and that it would hurt a bit but would be necessary to stay healthy.
So he was awaiting the needle sitting still... and this incredibly brave boy did a short heartbreaking cry but did calm down at once. The doctor had given him a lolly right before and he was distracted by it immediately.
When we had to go he even told us he wanted to stay...
Daddy took lots of photos and videos and Max loves to watch the videos on my iPhone every day. So I think he has a good memory and looking back on everything positively.
