Blood sample
Had to go to the doctor´s today as Max´ bad fever just did not get down.
My boy, you were so so brave! You had high fever, you were weak and tired and taking the blood from your index finger was pretty hard in addition. You were only frowning and trying to keep one tear back! Heartbreaking!
Miss Lina!
You are one crazy little girl. You fell off the chair in the afternoon right on the elbow of the broken arm. The weeping was so alarming that daddy and I decided to take you to hospital to let you be checked... once more.
Fortunately... just a graze and the bone was alright... and the surgeon let us take your bandage off for taking an extensive shower, hooray! You enjoyed it so much lovely bunny! Oh, how much you must have waited for this!

Still fever...
... but feeling a bit better.
The most challenging thing having sick children is to keep them entertained at home when you cannot go out! So I think we have a really wonderful and a little bit exaggerated easter decoration this year, haha!

It goes on
Lina was still feverish today but feeling a tiny bit better.
She is obviously in love with our easter decoration... but pretty dejected that she is not able to cut and draw as she would like to.
My boy did sleep all day long... with some in between times to drink and watch tv.

Flu
It was a really hard time when we all were that sick. I started feeling bad at the end of February and everybody should follow the next weeks. Seeing the kids having high fever and being week and ailing was hard.
Caring for the family with all the things to do, doing the household, shopping and cleaning was a challenge. Hubby had loads of work too. Luckily we have my parents to support us. Omi stayed with us nearly every single day, was cooking, playing with the kids and doing the laundry. And having her for homespun remedies was such a treasure too!
I know I am one lucky girl to have a mama like this!

Worst day so far
The morning was a lovely one. Martin and I spent it having brunch with friends and going for an extensive walk in the springlike nature.
But then... we got the call that Lina overthrow unhappily. She didn´t stop crying desperately for a long time and so we went home quickly. When we arrived she had fallen asleep minutes ago so we waited for her to wake up and see how she would feel. Omi had put her to bed with a cold cloth and some homeopathy.
Half an hour later she woke up and cried for me. When I lifted her from bed she cried even more holding her right arm. We knew we had to take her to hospital letting her arm be checked.
Unfortunately it was clear soon... her upper arm was broken. The x-ray pictures and getting the cuff and collar on was the worst. My babygirl had such pain and suffered so much! It was hard to bear seeing her like this!
