Going to the doctor is... hard to believe... real fun for my kids. Being there is relaxing for them... and one of the reasons is definitely because we have the lovliest pediatrician ever. She is talking to them properly, respecting their privacy, she is very patient, explaining every step extensively and never forgets to include them in everything.
Playing games to check different abilities is fun... and she is doing this at the beginning getting into contact with the kid. Lina was awesome pointing out the right colour and shape and putting it onto the right place. "We have this in kindergarden!"... Max told. The doctor begged him to let Lina do it on her own because she would take a special eye on her today... and asked him to take a book out of the shelf. He did... and was busily reading and counting during the whole examination. Such a wonderful brother!
Can´t believe how big she is already!? Being on this scale from the very beginning on... fidgeting as a newborn, twiddling as a baby, whining as a very little girl and now patiently sitting and waiting as a 4 year old!
Both kids won a "good kid at the doctor" award and they were proud beyond words. Max was embracing the doctor´s legs afterwards telling: "Thank you! It was sooo nice being here with you!" (with his smartest smile and squinted eyes) ... I could eat him up... and I guess so could she, haha!
