Walk
It´s just too long to spend the whole day at the beach. So we made different trips in the morning. This day we went for an extensive walk along the shore with a break in a little restaurant.
Lina loved to be carried in between times... to sit in the pram was not supportive enough for her curiosity.
It was incredible how good my two babies were.... Max was walking without whining, just observing everything, talking, asking and being the cutest boy in the world! Lina relaxed in the sling, then was sleeping in the pram. Indeed... this sounds like great fun!
This time together was so wonderful. The children benefited a lot from having mama and papa with them the whole day. They were really relaxed and easy to entertain.
Lots of progresses happened this week too. I had the feeling that Max got more independent and self-confident in dealing with the other toddlers. He is now defending his toys and telling clearly what he doesn´t want. For example he didn´t want to be touched by the other children or giving them his hand while walking. The way he expressed his wishes were too funny! "No... not touching Max... alone... leave...!"
And... my big son doesn´t need nappies any more. I´m bursting with pride! This was such a relief but somehow a bit exhausting too. We always had to take a look at cafes or restaurants with toilets. I´m sure we know every opportunity to go to the loo on this island. Of course nature was watered sometimes as well ;-)
Lina is able to sit herself down now. She is crawling around, sitting, getting on all fours, standing up... always in movement... my little wild bumblebee!
Missy made a great improvement with eating. She is allowed to sample nearly everything. I was really strict with requirements when Max was under one year... not so doing with my daughter. She loves the different tastes and consistences... is using her little fingers, grabbing pieces out of her mouth, taking a look and eating then... and hardly making mess... this is perfect!
