Great-grandmother

Anna came over today to bring the children´s easter basket. Max was really glad... two chocolate chicken were eaten up at once. 

She is so in love with our two darlings and they love her back as well... wonderful!

We had a totally exhausting day today. Didn´t have time to take some more pics.

Will make some lovely family photos tomorrow... and spend more time together!

Sorrow

Little Miss L. had not her best day today. She didn´t sleep too much because she fell asleep in her pram and there was so strong wind outside that she woke up too early. 

In addition she is badly teething and I´m sure that´s very painful. Such a poor darling! 

Love you my girl, hope you will feel better tomorrow!

Screws and cables

Max joined his daddy today while he was preparing something in Lina´s room because she will get her new huge cabinet tomorrow. It was a bit stressful... Lina was extremely tired and Max didn´t want to share the tools. But nevertheless so cute to see him being totally fascinated by this stuff and daddy´s abilities.

Opi

At present there is really nothing that keeps my boy inside. Nevertheless we have some fresh temperatures as well he wants to go into the garden. Opi is busily cutting trees, planting flowers,  fertilizing the green... all in all... preparing everything for the summer.

Max just loves this work. He is helping wherever he has to... brings garden stuff, is holding this and that for opi and running behind him, commenting everything he knows the word for... and very often I hear opi laughing out loud - I´m sure because of Max´ expressions!

This is so cute to see... how very good my son is. In the morning they spent nearly three hours at work... just a short break for a snack. And in the afternoon they continued... till evening. Incredible!

Cookies

Max isn´t a good eater at all. But when he is hungry he cannot wait a second. Then he wants chocolate, yoghurt, cookies, fruits,... no matter what... just something to eat... quickly!

In the morning after his hard work with opi he ate so much that I was really flashed. Motion and fresh air worked wonders. Then, in the evening, when he came in he was hungry again. "Cookies, mama, please!"

So he sat on the floor to his sister and had snack time with Lilli. Lina was so cute observing them. I´m sure she would have loved chewing on a cookie. But I think we are going to try eating mash first!

Cars

Little Miss L. is mostly playing with Max´ toys. She is interested in his cars and trains, his tractor books and wild animals. I think it´s high time to buy some special girl stuff... fortunately she likes her lovely doll as well!

So much fun to play with you, looking forward to these mother-daughter interests in the future!

Dirt

My son really hates dirt. Doesn´t like chocolate on his fingers, doesn´t like stains on his clothes or dirty shoes. I have to say that he is never ever dirty from playing.... only if he falls down. Confessed it´s not the worst to have a neat son...

The funny thing is that I never kept him off to get soiled. He just can´t stand it. I even encourage him to touch the earth, the grass or any other mud but he refused.

Happily he changed a lot in this special way and yesterday was a big turn. Max stepped into the sandpit and played with his new lorry and excavator.... touched the sand not only with two fingers... big deal!

 Funny boy... I love you and your peculiarities!

Doctor

Today was another appointment at the doctor´s. Fortunately it´s no problem at all to go there. I told Max what´s going to happen... that she would have a look in his ears, his mouth, that she will palpate his belly and control his heart beat.

At least he will get an injection to stay healthy. I told him that this would hurt very shortly. Max looked at me thoughtfully and was okay to go there.

Not to forget... he´s going to meet John Deere there again ;-)

 

I took some yummy chocolate with a little toy in it with me and gave it to my boy when we went into the doctor´s office. So he was busy with nibbling... no resistance during the examination.

Max was so cute and funny... watching the doctor and commenting everything.

After the vaccination he cried just a few seconds... I know this serum is burning :-( 

Then he said: "Dress me!" Isn´t this lovely?

In the next moment he was playing on the floor with his tractor again... as if nothing had happened. 

I´m always talking with Max about everything what´s going to happen. Always telling him the truth without blandishing. Even it is pain or something unpleasant... I´m sure this helps incredibly... we never ever have any problem with anything. He is such a good child... no whining, no crying, no refusing!

My son, you are such a blessing, you fill my heart with joy!

Miss L. was relaxed too. During examintion she was smiling at the doctor and observing her good brother. Happily my babies are totally healthy... not even a cold for nearly one year. Hope to go on like this!

The serum was a bit painful too but she was also crying only a few seconds. I had her in my arms and  my girl was calm again. I feel so sorry for my children when they cry from pain!

At least a short check on the scale... 7300gram she has. 

 My daughter, my happiness... I love you with every beat of my heart!

Seven months

I can hardly believe... seven months ago my Miss L. was just a few hours old... a completely fresh, perfect newborn. The progress she made the last weeks are incredible. Sure, there are some more since she was a new baby but I tell about her latest talents every full month.

So... the last four weeks were full of movement improvement, laughter, observation, playing on her own, getting two teeth and at least starting to eat. 

Last point is definitely upgradeable. Let´s see what to tell in four more weeks!?

After napping

My boy has lack of sleep. He didn´t have a nap yesterday and went to bed too late. So today was difficult. The day started chaotic which is not my darling´s favorite style. He is depending on regularity and circadian rhythm. Maybe he is a bit inflexible but that´s the way it is. 

So he was completely whacked after playing in the morning. Taking him to bed for his nap was fine for him but falling asleep was hard work. He wanted water, many different cars, a fresh diaper, reading, books in his bed, mama talking to him, calling for Lina, playing with his music pig and so on. 

One and a half hour later he was peaceful and stayed in bed over three hours. I had to wake him up at nearly 5 o´clock to go to our great-grandmother. 

Happily he had good mood and was pleased to drive away.

Sweet Max... even though times are a challenge sometimes,

 for daddy and me you are definitely the best son in the world!

 We so so love you and always will!

Gardening

Max is spending most of the time outside. First wish in the morning "Garden!". He gets his lawn mower, his vehicles and his watering cans out of the garden shed and starts to work at once. 

Mama needs lots of persuasion to move him inside for his nap. Maybe he spent too much time in the house during the unfriendly winterdays? 

My sweet nature boy... you are so funny and cute!

Bath

Miss L. loves her bathing bucket. From now on she is able to sit inside without being held and she enjoys it a lot. Too lovely watching her playing with her fingers and feet... except mama is distracting her with snapshots!

Morning stroll

We all had a wonderful morning together. Decided not to go into the garden but to drive to a near nature park. 

Max was totally enthusiastic to be able to run wherever he wanted to. No cars, no dangers... just a few biker. It´s a very quaint place there. Lots of birds, bugs, ants and other crawlies. My boy was amazed... always with his look on the ground. No whining, not being demanding at all... only strolling, looking and telling his stories!
Oh how I adore this boy of mine!

Lina was at first sleeping so good... afterwards some sweet photos and then snuggling into the sling to drink. Best daughter in whole world... love you so my baby!

I think I don´t have to tell a great story but just to share our lovliest shots here. Let´s see!

Flowers

Mama planted flowers on our terrace today. It´s like holidays for the eyes after the grey winterdays. Max was so glowingly helping me...  decorating the arrangement with a little sheep. Cute!

Afterward my boy needed a break. Standing in front of the stone wall like a model type!

Little Miss L. joined us in her pram... playing with her toys. She was such a patient girl having fun watching us and listening to our talks. So lovely!

Change

Mama converted Lina´s couchette into a real "big girl" buggy today. She didn´t like to be in her baby pram any longer except for sleeping. Due to the fact that our little Miss L. is really curious I decided to rebuilt it even though she is not able to sit on her own yet. 

So we strolled through our garden in the afternoon and she enjoyed it... and it looks comfy, right?

Walk the dog

Omi got this totally cute pic today when they all went for a walk together... kids with omi and opi. 

Happily my boy is very cautious with dogs. He is rather anxious than brave. But Lilli he likes a lot.

There are some huge and scary dogs in our neighborhood which Max doesn´t like at all. Meeting them, he always wants to be picked up until they are out of sight. Interesting to see how instinctively careful Max is without having made any bad experience. Clever boy!

Pizza

We went out for shopping and dinner. Decided to eat pizza. Max was totally pleased and was sitting peacefully on his chair. Eating so much that mama and papa were really astonished  about his appetite. 

So you can say... pizza is sure one of his favorites!

Miss L. was so very good... waiting in her pram while we were eating. So cute her little hand trying to grab the camera.

Evening care

My babies and me spent long time in the bathroom this evening. Taking a long bath, giving them a soothing massage... of course taking some lovely pics and finally cuddling before going to bed.

 Miss L. was so staring at mama and Max joking around and laughing. Such a pretty girl my daughter and such a handsome boy my son! I´m so proud of my children!

Confessed I´m really in love with my darlings cute small feet. So I could not help but taking some feet photos too :-)

Lovely sweethearts... sometimes I just don´t find enough words to tell you how much you mean to me! I love you incredibly!

Nap

When daddy came home today he was so incredibly tired. While relaxing on the sofa Max snuggled into his arms and kissed him to sleep. This was so cute! 

My boy is so cuddly... always demanding for hugs and kisses and telling us how much he loves us.

Moving

Little Miss L. is starting to slide across the floor. This is so much fun for her realizing that she can reach some stuff on her own now. The locomotion is not perfect yet but Lina is practicing continously.

Easter decoration

My sweet boy helped me setting up the easter decoration. He was so happy doing this with me... hanging the eggs onto the bush, putting up the rabbits and  flowers... preparing all the lovely stuff. So cute seeing him sharing mama´s enthusiasm for decoration.

Miss L. was very curious for the dangling eggs and rabbits... Max was showing them to her. They are so veeery beautiful and enchanting siblings!

By the way: Lina was standing on all fours today... for the first time! Suddenly she was bobbing with her bottom in the playpen. I could eat her when I saw this. Too great!

Unfortunately bad photo quality. But I had to take the pic very quickly with my i-phone to capture this special first! Nevertheless... I love it!

Garden in the mall

There was another appointment at the hairdresser´s for our Maxi today. He is even looking forward to going there because he is only waiting for the sweets Veronika gives him after cutting. 

You got such a beautiful hairdo... trying to get a lovely photo from your style tomorrow!

Afterwards we strolled through the mall, some easter shopping and enjoying the so lovely flower exhibition. The kids liked it a lot and Max didn´t want to move on... so...  no more shopping...

I love being on the move with my kids... they really enjoy it and it´s a bit a change in our everyday´s life... additionally my babies are so good :-)

Vehicles

My boy has a special passion for cars, bikes and all other vehicles. Normally he likes to drive around in the living room but now it´s much more fun for him to ride through the garden!

Bubbles

Omi tought Max to  make bubbles. He spent so much time doing this and was completely fascinated by them gliding trough the air.

But because of the fact that soap was running all over his hands he was very annoyed of his sticky fingers then... wiping onto his shirt constantly. Too funny!

Miss L. loves being outside. So many things to observe and always carried. She enjoyed playing with omi and watching big brother making bubbles.

So much fun with you my babies! You both make me so endlessly happy!

Anna

The children´s great-grandmother came over for a visit today. Unfortunately Max was sleeping at this time. But as he often goes for walks with opi they stop by at her place regularly. So Max and Anna meet quite often. Anna is such a wonderful person and we all love her so much!

The meeting between Anna and Lina was so lovely. At first my Miss L. only stared at her because she is so fascinated by people who are wearing glasses. I thought she was going to cry but my girl was only a bit cautious... warped her sweet face shortly... but then granny took her and Lina was totally relaxed.

Garden tool

My boy found the next dangerous thing today. Omi brought branches for our easter bush. So Max took the secateurs and tried to shorten them. Lovely...  because he always looked over to us to make sure nobody comes to take it away from him. 

Such an incredibly clever go getter!

Unauthorized enter

There is no day passing by mama, papa and Max don´t have discussions about how dangerous screws are. So we took them away - and some toys which contain screws - down in the basement and some up into this cupboard. 

But he knows where we put them and so just climbed up the hanging cabinet and looked for his favorites. I was a bit shocked when I found him standing on the top for the first time. I talked to him calmly not to frighten him. Then Max turned around and smiled so cute at me that I could not rant at all!

Company

My Miss L. and me spent the whole afternoon in the garden. Max was at opi´s place - we live next to each other. So I could do some work and Lina was observing me. Sometimes she was a bit annoyed by the sunshine but made such a lovely face! Sweet princess!
